Clubroom Hire

Our club rooms are available for functions including weddings, company gatherings, birthdays, quiz nights and karaoke nights. There are bars situated on the ground and mezzanine floors and around 150 can be seated upstairs and around 180 downstairs for formal dinners.

To hold a function, the costs may include the following:

  • Hireage fee of $350 (includes cost of bar staff for five hours, additional hours will incur additional cost)
  • Special Licence: $65.00
  • Bond: $200.00

Conditions

  • Hireage fee includes standard cleaning of premises provided they have been left in the condition they were in prior to the event plus all other general costs.
  • In the event that the premises are damaged or left in an unacceptable state the bond will be forfeited and any additional cost of repair/cleaning will be passed on to the hirer.
  • Tukapa Rugby & Sports Club bar staff must be used to ensure that all liquor licensing requirements are adhered to.
  • Events require a Special Liquor Licence and 25 business days’ notice are required to ensure this licence is attained.
  • The bond will be refunded on confirmation that the premises meet the above requirements.
